Founder
Nate Klevit is a versatile, experienced, Financial Advisor with extensive proficiency in managing risk, debt, investments, estates, and finance. Since he started in 1989, he’s helped thousands of businesses and families manage over $500,000,000 in assets. He’s particularly helpful in supporting clients to define financial goals thoughtfully, strategically, and objectively.
Over the past twenty years, Nate has spent countless hours counseling men to increase self-awareness, power, and personal growth through participation in men’s groups/circles. He has a deep commitment to supporting all people to expand their vision for what’s possible in relationships, work, family, and their community. He has also certified 2 dogs for pet therapy, where they visited patients at Abington Hospital and other local healthcare facilities.
Nate is deeply rooted in the Delaware Valley Jewish community due to his family and very personal connections to Temple Sinai, Adath Jeshurun, Germantown Jewish Community Center and Beth Or. Nate’s grandfather, Max Klevit, was a past president at Temple Sinai. His father, The Honorable Jerold Klevit, was a Lay Leader at Adath Jeshurun.
A committed exercise and healthy lifestyle fanatic; he is also vegan, and dreams about, but no longer eats, Philadelphia steak sandwiches. He has been known to take one bite (literally) of pizza for scientific research and unbiased rating purposes only. This research recently resulted in his 150th review.
He is an overtly biased fan of Philadelphia sports teams and opinionated lover of classical music, opera, and Rush.
His rescued Norwegian Forest Cat, Daphne, is convinced she is Norwegian royalty, despite her rough start as a stray in Philadelphia.
He is a proud and biased parent of two spectacular children.
Nate received a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and is a graduate of the 243rd class of Central H.S. of Philadelphia.
Lori Lewis
Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Lori S. Lewis is a compassionate and dedicated Family Service Counselor and Cemeterian. For over 21 years she has been in a unique position - helping Jewish families and individuals deal with one of life’s most difficult subjects. Having always been involved in “helping” professions, when the opportunity to work closely with the Jewish community presented itself, she jumped at the chance. At Montefiore Cemetery, the largest privately owned Jewish cemetery in the Delaware Valley, she is part of a program developed to attend to their families’
needs; from the preplanning stage to memorializing loved ones, she considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the Jewish community in this way.
Prior to becoming a Cemeterian, Lori counseled patients through Fox Chase Cancer Center’s alternative medicine program, using her skills (including hypnosis) to help hospice patients manage their pain and out-patients quit smoking or manage the adverse effects of their treatment programs. She has also treated patients with eating disorders at The Renfrew Center; teaching health, fitness and movement in a safe in-patient environment. At the Becoming Center she provided one on one counseling and hypnosis to the general public. She had her dog certified in pet therapy and would frequently bring her to Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Becoming Center in addition to various nursing homes in the Philadelphia
area.
Lori is a self-proclaimed introvert and enjoys spending time with family and close friends, but paradoxically loves public speaking. She has taught seminars at Fox Chase Cancer Center and adult education at Acadia University and lectured at too many groups and organizations to list here.
She is a lover of books (she has an extensive library), movies, animals, art and pizza. Having begun her career in health and fitness it is no surprise that she met Nate at the gym and developed a friendship that has lasted over 30 years.
Lori received her B.A. in English Literature from Temple University and attended graduate school at Temple as well; in the HPERD department (Health, Recreation, Physical Education and Dance).
Mara Olmstead
Chief Operations Officer
Mara Olmstead is chief operations officer for ReshetPro.
Prior to her current role, Olmstead served as president for the parent-teacher organization of John Witherspoon Middle School in Princeton, New Jersey. In that role, which she held for two and a half years, Olmstead helped drive the group’s sustainability, wellness, and equity efforts, as well as the group’s broader student engagement initiatives.
From 2011 to 2015, Olmstead served on the board of Johnson Park Elementary School’s parent-teacher-organization as vice-president of residency programs, where she oversaw the contract process for artists-in-residence and the marketing of those programs to the schools’ families.
From 1999-2005, Olmstead was legal counsel to SES Americom (formerly GE American Communications, Inc.), a satellite communications company. Prior to that, she was a corporate law associate at Drinker, Biddle & Reath, LLP for five years.
Olmstead is a graduate, cum laude, of Harvard Law School. She also is a graduate, summa cum laude, of Emory University, where she earned bachelors and masters degrees in English. Her law degree and years of experience as a corporate attorney have never proven all that useful in negotiations with her two sons.
